Sized 4'11" to 5'7"
Still too tall at the lowest setting? You're on the wrong size crutch.
When the shortest setting still leaves you reaching, more adjusting won't fix it. The In-Motion Youth Crutch is sized 4'11" to 5'7", and the table below lists every short size in the In-Motion line.

The In-Motion Youth Crutch, by Millennial Medical
The short-size problem
Three things a too-tall crutch gets wrong
The pad sits too high
When the shortest setting is still long, the underarm cradle rides up and you end up shrugging to clear it. The In-Motion Youth Crutch has 15 height positions and starts lower.
The grip is in the wrong place
Handle height is set separately from cradle height on this crutch, across four positions, so grip and pad can both land right instead of one compromising the other.
You fight the tip
Articulating tips pivot with your stride and hold 75 to 100 percent tip contact, which matters more when your stride is shorter and your cadence is quicker.

Every short option Millennial Medical makes
Two of these are short sizes in the spring-assisted Pro line, linked so you land on the right size rather than the tall default. If you are above the range, the tall models are listed too.

Questions
Before you order
What counts as a short crutch?
A crutch whose shortest setting actually fits you. Most adult crutches are built for average height and up, so a shorter user runs out of holes before the pad and grip land in the right place. The In-Motion Youth Crutch adjusts down to 4'11".
How do I measure before I order?
Shoes on, stand upright, and measure from the floor to your armpit. Under 45 inches and this crutch is too tall for you. Over 51 inches and the handle will not drop far enough, because it only uses the top 5 holes on the post. Have your clinician or physical therapist confirm the fit before you order.
I am 5'7" or a little over. Will this still work?
Measure before you decide. Millennial Medical is direct that customers between 5'8" and 5'9" often find the handles do not drop far enough, which is why the range stops at 5'7". At the lowest setting the handle sits 16 inches below the top of the cradle, so longer arms run out first. If that is you, the In-Motion Pro Underarm in the Short size covers 4'8" to 5'9" and its handle drops lower.
Is there a short size in the spring-assisted line too?
Yes. The In-Motion Pro comes in Short sizes in both styles: underarm from 4'8" to 5'9", and forearm from 4'2" to 5'5". Both are rated to 350 lb. They are in the table above, linked to the correct size.
Are these sold as a pair?
Yes, a pair. Weight capacity is 300 lb, and the HCPCS billing code is E0114 if you need it for insurance paperwork.
