Built for 4'11" to 5'7"
Crutches built for 4'11" to 5'7", not cut down from six feet.
Most crutches are made for a six foot adult and then shortened. This one was designed the other way around. It's sized 4'11" to 5'7", so the underarm cradle and the handgrip land where you need them instead of where the holes run out.
Fits 4'11" to 5'7" · 300 lb capacity · Sold as a pair · $129 at our store
The In-Motion Youth Crutch, model 8000C, by Millennial Medical
Why this one
Sized right from the start
Adjusts down to 4'11"
If you have run out of holes on a standard adult crutch, this is the model that keeps going down.
Handles shaped left and right
Contoured ergonomic handles, made as a matched pair rather than one shape for both sides, which keeps your wrists in a natural position.
Tips that stay flat
Articulating tips pivot with your stride and keep 75 to 100 percent of the tip in contact with the ground, on sidewalks, grass, gravel, and hardwood.
Out in the world
Made for the whole day, not the hallway

Questions
Before you order
How short can the In-Motion Youth Crutch go?
Millennial Medical sizes it for 4'11" to 5'7". The cradle moves across 15 height positions and the handgrip sets separately across 4. The practical test is the measurement, not your height: shoes on, measure floor to armpit, and you want 45 to 51 inches.
What if I am taller than 5'7"?
Then a different model fits you better, and they are all in the table above. Millennial Medical is direct about this: customers between 5'8" and 5'9" report that the handles do not always drop far enough, because the handle only uses the top 5 holes on the post. The In-Motion Pro Underarm comes in a Tall size for 5'10" to 7'1", and the Pro Forearm Tall covers 5'3" to 6'8". Both are rated to 350 lb.
Are these underarm crutches or forearm crutches?
Underarm. The In-Motion Youth Crutch is a universal underarm crutch, the style that rests under the arm with a handgrip below. Millennial Medical makes forearm (cuffed) crutches in the In-Motion Pro line, including a Short size that fits from 4'2".
Do these have the spring-loaded base?
No. The In-Motion Youth Crutch uses a rigid post. The spring-assisted base is the In-Motion Pro line, which is rated to 350 lb and comes in both Short and Tall sizes.
How much weight do they hold?
300 lb.
